About Dlab

Gazi Dlab was established in 2016 as part of the Gazi University Scientific Research Infrastructure Project. Dlab provides students access to different technologies such as digital drawing, 3D scanning, 3D printing and augmented reality. In addition, it also serves as a free study area for the students of our department.

Technologies and Equipment

Within Dlab; For rapid prototyping, there are 5 3D printers in 3 different technologies: 2 Zortrax M200 and 1 Makerbot Replicator Plus with FDM technology, 1 Stratasys Objet24 with Polyjet technology and 1 3D Systems Projet 1200 with SLA technology. In addition, there are 3 Epson Moverio BT200 augmented reality glasses, 3 Wacom Cintiq and 5 Wacom Intuos graphic tablets for digital drawing and 1 Next Engine 3D scanner for reverse engineering applications.
